My name is Brian Holmes and I love Photography as it gives me a chance to capture a moment in time and keep it forever!

It is a hobby that has been fun and interesting and I have decided to take it further by doing a course in Photography at either AS level or City and Guilds   (Depending on what happens in Sept 2008).

I am still new at this having only been actually getting to grips with the technical side recently but have enjoyed snapping images for ages!

I live in the Garden of England (Kent) and love spending time with my family though I can occasionally drive them nuts with my photographing!

Photography is not a way for me to earn a living. It is a hobby for me to enjoy and to share with others so I plan to keep it as an enjoyable pastime!

I generally use a Nikon D40 with a Sigma II 18-35mm lens. I could not recommend this enough!

For snapping, I use a Kodak Easyshare C653. It is a great compact digital and perfect for taking snaps!

It is light, easy to use and takes some cracking shots!

I also use a Velbon CX440 Tripod. It is cheap and VERY reliable!

This site has been designed to be as simple and as fast to use as possible.

To the more experienced web user, it may seem like an easy and old style HTML site but it is aimed at everybody so I have kept everything basic.

The layout and design is for one thing and one thing only, for me to share my images with everyone.
